I got a new camcorder today. A decade. That was my lifespan in MiniDV tape that has now been replaced with solid-state recording media. What to shoot? I need to learn to use this camera.*
Ian (FOT=friend of team) comes over for lunch and in 20 minutes he and I step out back and shoot a video poking fun at Facebook. We still need to come up with a name, but I suppose if 15 million people said “PlacéBoök! We Love It!” I’d figure out a way to argue the case. But otherwise, this was good for a laugh:
*That is, if i’m going to do a 3rd edition of The Little Digital Video Book. The camera is a Sony HD CM-5 “Bloggie”, a name i will not utter outloud any more than I will announce my Retriever+Poodle mix is a “Doodle.”
